Nina Simone - The Pusher

Another masterpiece from the 1974 live album "It Is Finished." Going on instinct I felt that a bright, light, citrusy, whiskey-based cocktail would be appropriate to this song. I was not disappointed:

Whiskey Rickey:
1 1/2 oz whiskey
1/2 lime
1 lime wedge
Carbonated water
Highball glass, filled with ice

Pour whiskey and and juice of 1/2 a lime into a highball glass. Fill with carbonated water and gently stir. Garnish with lime wedge.
