Well my friends, here it is, the moment you (or at least I) have been waiting for: GQ's 25 Best Cocktail Bars in America, 2010. While they do offer a recipe or two, GQ mostly describes the atmosphere and signature cocktail of each featured bar. Many are in NYC and California, but not all, so it's still fun looking to see if there is a bar near you, or any of your vacation spots. GQ also lists The 3 Best Spirit-Specific Cocktail Bars (all three are in NYC and Cali -natch), The Anatomy of a $15 Cocktail, a subject I myself have much to say about, and finally, the 3 Best Restaurant Cocktail Bars (Cali and -surprise!- New Orleans).
