Back from NY! Booze Music

Well, I careened my way about NYC for about five days, and have much to tell, but I'm gonna need some time to get my head together.

In the meantime, here is one of my favorite songs (tenuously) about New York City, "Bedstuy Parade & Funeral March" by Mos Def. It's a slick, thick, fat, jazz-funk smoothness to be sure. This song should be paired with a whisky as smoky as it's flow, so I recommend a peaty scotch like Lagavulin, or the excellent and mysteriously affordable, Bowmore 12 year.
